Frames and Keyframes:
  1. Add keyframe
    • f6 (function key at top row)
    • Insert menu > Keyframe
  2. Delete keyframe
    • Shift f6 (function key at top row)
    • Insert menu > Clear Keyframe
  3. Add frames
    • f5 (function key at top row)
    • Insert menu > Frame
  4. Delete frames
    • Shift f5
    • Insert menu > Remove Frames
Motion Tween
  1. Motion tweens are used to animate changes of:
    • Movements
    • Rotations
    • Color
    • Size
  2. They are applied between keyframes
  3. Tweens are applied and modified in the inspector palette
  4. The Tweened objects must either be grouped or be symbols
Timeline basics
  1. Each layer can only animate 1 object at a time
  2. Each layer can be “hidden” or “shown” by clicking in the “eye” column
  3. Each layer can be “locked” by clicking in the “lock” column
  4. The name of the layer can be changed by double clicking the name
  5. You can move keyframes by selecting them, then dragging them
  6. You can select multiple frames by clicking on the first frame then “shift clicking” (hold down the shift key) on the last frame.
    • This can be done across layers
