New COVID Drop Off Dates

Dear LS Students, Families and Staff,

I am writing to alert you to a schedule change for COVID sample collection. Starting in February we will be shifting collections days to Mondays and Tuesdays.

We continue to accept new enrollments on a rolling to participate in our testing program starting in January. New enrollment must be completed by the end of the Tuesday prior to the next round of testing. Cost for new enrollment is prorated by week. Here is a link to how to enroll. https://docs.google.com/document/d/1dvwxhouURxU2OwOVA6O9M9RqRv815ipWzynHDHjAKcI/edit

Continuation of pool testing beyond the end of March will require additional funding. At this time I am exploring funding options to share with you later. Given the differences between our program and that offered by the state I did not apply for LS to be a part of the state pool testing program. Here is a link to the presentation from the School Committee meeting of 1/19/21 that outlines the differences. The presentation also describes the advent of the BiNAX antigen test that will be available for use later this month. https://docs.google.com/presentation/d/1gOimW9-QyHuEe98ab5q-SfSK448T1ihnVQm6N-0wSjs/edit#slide=id.gaf813aa29c_0_15
