  • Jaralyn Gibson, '91: "Went to Skidmore College earning BA in Government. Worked as a lobbyist for women’s issues at the National Organization for Women - New York State for several years. I moved back to Mass. in 2000 to join a startup in the internet-retail-meets-equestrian world, SmartPak Equine LLC, serving as Vice President for New Business Development for 6 years. In 2007 began my own business Finesse Dressage LLC, training horses and riders and competing nationally and internationally in Dressage, living in Maryland and Florida. Was married for 12 years then divorced in 2017. I realize how special the experience of LS was especially now that my partner and I have a toddler and struggle with how to manage his educational experience in this polarized society."

  • Caitlin (Cat) Petrone, '07: "I graduated in 2007. I currently live in Fort Wayne Indiana with my husband, 7 year old son EJ and my 12 year old step daughter Jasmine. I live a comfortable life here and am very happy. I still think of my experiences at L-S, and how it helped shape me to be the educated kind woman I am today. Thank you to all my teachers from the bottom of my heart."

  • Brad Towle ’74: “Growing up in Sudbury I always dreamed of living on a farm so 10 years ago I bought one north of Nashville, TN., 14 acres with chickens, goats, dogs, cats and lots of wildlife. I work in sales for United Health Care and hobbies are any type of art, barbershop quartet, sculpting, reading and taking care of multiple farm buildings. Married with 1 boy and 2 girls. Last one is second year at DePaul. Looking forward to retirement in a few years so I can become an artist full time. Have a very happy life."

  • William Loder, '70: "I was looking forward to attending our 50th reunion. It was postponed due to Covid-19.  I joined the Navy in Dec 1970 and did 4 years. When I got out I lived in Marlboro for a few months. I then moved to Chatham on Cape Cod. I mowed lawns for a season or so. Realized that one doesn't make money in the winter. I then started in the plumbing trade and have done it for about 44 years now. I am still working as many hours as I want.  I started a family late and have a Daughter that just graduated from UMASS this spring. She will be working in psychology. She will have a job at Mcleans hospital in Middleboro".

  • Robin Boots, '75:  "Went to UMass Amherst on the 6 year plan, got a varied and excellent education.  Masters in Classics at Tufts, '83.  I have been a Latin Teacher most of my life, and began to teach Spanish based on what I learned at Curtis and L-S.  Married for 23 years, now divorced for 5. Two wonderful sons, ages 23 and 19.  The oldest is working in Biotech, living in VT.  The youngest is a sophomore at Tufts majoring in film.  I live and teach in Massachusetts again (Lowell) after having taught for 17 years in NJ.  Working at being an anti-racist teacher and working against injustice in our behavior and laws."

  • Liz Verhey, '78: "I went to Wilson College in Chambersburg, Penn. It was a wonderful old small women's college, where I was better able to come out of my shell than at big LS. I participated in student government, performed in modern dance, and lived my lifelong dream of doing gymnastics. I learned to teach there and used my chld psychology degree as a gymnastics teacher. I was married for 32 years before divorcing just 4 years ago. We used to co-own OTW Gymnastics in NH. I have a grown son and daughter and love having fun with them at my lakeside cabin. I am teaching gynastics again, now in Waltham, Mass. It's been fun living near so many of my wonderful LS friends."
  • Tom Hillary, '81: "LS was a great preparation for life. I went on to be elected to the Board of Assessors in Sudbury for three terms (1986-1950. I produce films, some with Academy Award nominees–see the Imdb page–and I present the Hillary Award at Rindge Tech HS in Cambridge in each year again!" 
  • Caitlin (Cat) Petrone, '07: "I graduated in 2007. I currently live in Fort Wayne, Indiana, with my husband, 7-year old son EJ and my 12-year old step-daughter Jasmine. I live a very comfortable life here and am very happy. I still think of my experiences at L-S and how it educated me to be the educated, kind woman I am today.   • Calista Termini, '89: "I'm working on my M.A. in Clinical Psychology at National University, and training at the Los Angeles Gender Center. Additonally, I am a volunteer facilitator at the L.A. LGBT Center and a crisis counselor for the National Suicide Hotline. Since accepting my own gender identity, the joy and gratitude I've experienced has been life-changing. It's also something that I believe all of us deserve and are capable of having. To that end, I look forward to being a licensed therapist and contributing my talents and life experience to support my community and their families."
  • Elizabeth Omansky, '89: "Attended UMass Amherst after high school and have been in the mortgage industry for the last 30 years. Moved with my husband to Frisco, Texas and then on to to Naples, Florida. where we have lived for the last 7 years. I continue to work in mortgages...We live in North Naples with our three boys, Andrew, 10, Dylan, 7, and Alexander, 2. I love to talk to my boys about what life was like growing up in Sudbury and have even showed them the walk through video on YouTube when it was still the original school!
  • Philip Kafalas, '79: "My wife and I live in Takoma Park, MD. I have been teaching Chinese language and literature at Georgetown University for the last twenty years."
  • Kathy Miller, '70: "Retired two years ago and currently living in Oviedo Florida. Been married 46 years, two daughters, six wonderful grandchildren, all teenagers or older. We have lived in western Massachusetts, Colorado Springs, and central Florida for the past 20 years."
  •  Pam Garavano, '67: "Had a wonderful career as an RN. Retired October 2015. Have 2 children and 3 grandchildren. Have lived in Andover, Mass. for the past 26 years. Spend a great deal of time in New York with kids and grandkids."
  • Michael Isenberg, '85: "After 28 years in sports broadcasting, including time as a sports anchor, ten years ar ESPN, and another 10 at Fox Sports Detroit, I've taken on a new challenge as a TV sports agent for MediaStars. Loving the new job, specifically trying to held people accomplish their goals!"   
  • Alan Avila, '87: "I currently work for Bank of America and live in Sudbury with my wife and daughter. My wife works at the Loring School here in town and my daughter is an 8th grader at Curtis. She will be attending LS next year, and will be the 4th Avila to attend the high school. I am also involved in the METCO Program in Sudbury, sharing my story with the kids."
  • Mary Beth Fuller, '79: "I live in Alton, NH, where I direct a summer camp and teach Middle School Language Arts. I have two college age daughters and a great husband who works year round at the sumer camp."
  • Miki Polumbaum, '69: "After taking a few years off after graduating L-S, I attended the the School of the Museum of Fine Arts where I majored in metalsmithing...I am presently the proud owner of a condo and silversmithing studio in Somerville, Mass. I have an adorable 5.5 year old pet Congo African Grey parrot named Aziza whom I love dearly, and also take Tae Kwon Do courses at a local school. Othere interests: biking and classci films. Hello to L-S classes 1968-70. All the best!"
  • Paula Miller, '76: "Major name change twenty-five years ago, to Shemaya Laurel. In 2015, my partner of many years, Suzanne, and I moved to downeast Maine after quite a number of years in western Mass., where among other things I worked on the cleanup of the Connecticut River. For quite a while I have also been involved in sailboat projects, and recently have been doing some writing about that."
  • Elizabeth Weiss Ozorak,'74: "I live in Meadville, PA, where I teach psychology at Allegheny College and figure skate. I have one son, Nick, who's about to turn 25."
  • James Alexander, '72: "Was great to find this page and see Alan Ey's post...I am living in Sudbury after inheriting my father's house. Fixing it up. Married for 34 years to Marilee and have two grown boys, Christopher and Nathaniel. A new grandson named Grey. Working at Robinson's Hardware in sales. Lived in Marlborough for 25 years before moving back to Sudbury, which my famly has lived in since 1914. Can't believe it. We will probably be the last generation here, as when we retire we are going someplace cheaper and warmer. Lol."
  • Doug Marquis, '79: "After graduating L-S, I went to U Mass/Amherst and then to MIT (for work and grad school). Workwise, I have been at MIT most of my career, but have also done a startup and been in the US government. Homewise, I married a long time ago, and have one teenage son. I have lived mostly in the Boston area (Weston), thoigh I spent most of two years living in Rondondo Beach, CA."
  • Deepi Goyal, '85: "I met my wife of neary 25 years at the University of Michigan, and have been working in the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN, since 1999. We have 2 incredible children and still love visiting the Boston area whenever we can. Can't believe Ms. Frommer is emeritus! I still remember the power of rewading Night in her class."
  • Thomas Fales, '69: "I am presently living in Maine, in the small town of Winthrop, with the love of my life, Charlene, and our five children. I retired three years ago after completeing a tour of duty in the Air Force as a munitions maintenance specalist and then a 32-year career in law enforcement in the state. I hope to see if I can locate and reminisce with lost friends and old classmates!"
  • Todd Faber, '87: "My wife Jennifer and I moved back to Sudbury in 2003 after many years in Miami where I was a child abuse prosecutor. At that time, our oldest daughter was a little over two years old, now this fall she will be a freshman at LS, while our youngest daughter will be in 6th grade in Curtis. I have run my own business in commercial real estate for almost 15 years and my wife (a former Nixon teacher) recently took a principal position in Weston."
  • Cristina Luis, '97: "After LS I spent several more years in school (Rochester and Arizona) and followd that up, for some unknown reason, with a stint in the US Airforce, as a Combat Search & Rescue Navigator. About three years ago, I moved to Norway with my partner Melissa–we are getting married in October and our first baby is due in August, just because why not do everything at once? I'm working as a research scientist at the Norwegian Meteorological Institute and generally like to spend my free time frolicking in the woods."  
  • Anne (Lankau } Spencer, '84: "I attended the University of Vermont (where I met my husband of 24 years. I got my degree in Marketing in the School of Business Adminsitration. At the same time family purchased Stow Acres Country Club in nearby Stowe, MA, and I began working there. I have been fortunate to work with my family for the past 27 years-challeging but very rewarding. We moved back to Sudbury when my two children (now 20 and 18 years) were little are are now enjoying the beginning of our empty nest years. A great place to grow up and a great place to raise a family still."
  • Janet Burns, '74: "I have stayed in Pliladephia PA after graduating the University of Pennsylvania. I work at a private Quaker school in Philadelphia and have one son who will attend (and row for) Georgetown University next year."  
  • Susan Wharton-Schmitz, '89: I worked as a college counselor and freshman instructor in the Mass. community college system for a number of years and worked with a diverse population of students. I found my niche working with struggling students and felt privileged tp help them on their journey. Recently I have published an article in a book, "Common Ground on the Common Core," about how recent K-12 school reforms are affecting children with learning differences. I was lucky to attend a high school like LS, prior to silly reforms and high stakes testing. I am saddened to see the joy taken out of learning, and how many public schools, now controlled by politicans and testing corporations, cater to only one kind of learner. 
  • Pavlik Mintz, '79: "After LS and Brandeis, I moved around New England a bit. I settled in Lexington almost twenty years ago now. I live with my wife Linda (journalist and author), a son in first grade, and a puppy."
  • Lisa (MacDonald) Doherty, '93: "I received my undergrad in nursing at St. Anselm College, and worked as an oncology RN at UMass. I then went on to receive my Masters in nursing at UMass Medical School graduate school in nursing in 2001. I then took a job as a Nurse Practitioner at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in Boston, and have been there ever since. I am married, with two children, and living in Norwell Mass." 
  •  DohertyRobert Rose, '65: After high school, went to WPI and got a BS ChemE degree. Retired from DuPont after 25 years, then an additional 20 years with Mitsubishi chemical group companies. Last assignment: Managing Director of UK subsidiary. Married with two children and three granchildren. Now golfing and fishing in Texas.
  • Alan Ey, '72: "Living in Anaheim Hills, CA for the last 20+ years with my wife Eileen and two great college age kids. Often reflect on the extraordinary education and people I came to know at LS."
  • Rosemary (Preeper) Langmaid, '70: "I live in Maynard. Have three wonderful children, a son and two daughters. Both girls also graduated from L-S. Two gorgeous grandaughters, one also graduated from L-S. Have been working for CVS for 18 years. Hello everyone!"
  • Ray Trevisani, '74: I am living in Duxbury, Mass., happily married with two grown daughters. I'm a sales executive in the software arena. My regards to all. How true are the fllowing lyrics: "All the faces and all the places/wonderin' where they all disappeared/It's those changes in lattitudes/changes in attitudes/nothng remains quite the same/With all our running and all our cunning/if we couldn't laugh we'd go insane."
  •  Joe L. Smith, '83: " I am a husband and father of three beautiful and gifted kids. We reside in Brockton, Mass., where I am the Pastor to the Greater Generations Tabernacle Church. I love to travel and see new and exciting things. This June I will celebrate my marriage to my queen and friend. I am still into my music and I love my church. I would love to connect with some of my class and schoolmates. I am proud to be part of the family LS and would love to relive some of the experiences and memories.   •  Julie Wu, '84: "I am  the author of a novel, The Third Son, which was published in 2013 and was mentioned in O Magazine as a top pick for May. I am working on my second novel now. I live in Belmont, Mass., with my husband and two kids who are 10 and 5 and require being driven all over the state on a daily basis!"
  •  Deb (McCarthy) Curtis, '71: "I went to L-S from 1968-1971. Had Mr. Bronson for English...best teacher in the world. Also had Don Gould for Ancient History...2nd best teacher. I now live in Plymough, have 2 grown children and 3 grandchildren." 
  • Jessica (Cherniak) Herold, '84: "I would have graduated in 1984 if I wasn't so determined to self-destruct. I turned 21 in Air Force Basic Training and retired 23 years later. Susan Henebry gave me a VIP tour of the zoo a few years ago. Amazing! I finished my art degree and live in Texas with my husband. I have a 23-year old son who is an electrician."
  • Susan Henebry Kleven, '84: "I have lived in the same house in Aubrey, Texas, for 23 years. My husband and I own a wildlife education company teaching audiences about animals and nature. In 2004, I accepted the position of Zoo Director for the Frank Buck Zoo in Gainesville, Texas. Our daughter is a senior this year and very active in her school band's color guard."
  • Holly Dickey, '84: "I reside in northern Mass. with my boyfriend. Since college, I have perused and thoroughly enjoyed a career in Business Analytics (yes, using my math degree from Tufts) for various companies around Massachusetts and California. Currently I work from home for a Michigan-based pet supply company. Most importantly, all my dreams were answered when I gave birth to my lovely daughter in May, 2013."
  • Laurel Dickey, '79: "I've been living in the Amherst, Mass., area for the past 30 years, employed in education, mostly providing training to literacy teachers. I met my husband while leading bicycle trips in the late 80s, and now enjoy traveling with him and our two teenage sons.
  • Amanda Robinson, '00, just began a new job at Indiegogo, the open crowdfunding platform based in San Francisco. Out side of work, she just finished her second year with the Bay Area Derby Girls (BAD), where she skates for the Oakland Outlaws under the name "Cass Warfare."
  • Kristen Watkins, '07: "I'm currently living in San Francisco and working at Recology, a resource recovery program (recycling, composting, garbage). I work in sustainability, focusing on how to get San Francisco to zero waste by 2020!"
  • Will Beckham, '11: "I am currently living in Amman, Jordan and studying Arabic until the end of the year. I live with a Jordanian family in the northwestern part of the city, just doing my best to immerse myself in the language as much as possible. I encourage all L-S alums to visit the Middle East if they can!"
  • Sherry Sybertz, '06: "I am serving as a Peace Corps volunteer in a small mountain village in Morocco. I have lived here for three years. I work in a local community center designing leadership activities for the youth here. Some of my most succcessful projects include a girls' empowerment camp and a youth cross-cultural leadership camp.
  • Scott M. Devine, '97: "I'm living in Orlando, Fla., where I have been working for Universal Studios for the past 13 years. I am a Technical Supervisor in our Entertainment Dept. I've been married for seven years and have a beautiful two-year old daughter, Scarlette."
  • Lorrie A. McGee, '74: "I am living and working in Cambridge, Mass., a good location to be to get some health issues addressed. Making plans to go back for my doctorate and become a child psychologist and a writer-and maybe start my own little farm. Life has been good to me." 
  • Cheryl Sottie Flynn, '73: "I'm a real estate broker in Massachusetts. I reconnected with a former classmate recently and life is good. At 53, I graduated from the Regis College grad program, receiving an MS in Business Communication. I was on the adjunct faculty for a while at Anna Maria College in Paxton, Mass. I have three children and one is now married."
  • Judith (Connoly Householder, '67: "I'm living in Springfield, WV. Will soon be moving to Augusta, WV. I have been married to Dale Householder, and on Oct. 28, 2013, it will be 46 years for us. We have four grown children. My oldest son Eric is a Delagate for the State of WV. We are very proud of him. I am retired now. I enjoy quilting, reading, bowling, and am a member of the Red Hats in my town. I have 14 grandchildren."  
  • Susan Wheeler, '73: "I've written a novel and six books of poetry, the most recent of which was shortlisted for the National Book Award in 2012, and I've been teaching at Princeton University since 1999. I miss Tom Hooper, whom I stayed in touch with all these years."
  • Moha Desai Patel, '92: "I am on sabbatical from my career in healthcare to focus more on my family and community. Our second son Vikram was born in August 2013 and our first son Devraj is enjoying his baby brother and kindergarten. During my time off, I have been working on a project to share my heritage with all." 
  • Warren Senders, '75: "I live in Medford MA, where I make my living as a teacher and performer of Indian classical singing. There are only a few non-Indians in this field and I am one of them. My wife Vijaya and I met when I was studying music in India. Our daughter is now 8. In addition to Indian music. I also keep a foot or two in the world of Jazz, composing for the Boston-based Jazz Composers Alliance Orchestra (Most recent CD: 'Stories'). Finally I am very concerned about climate change and try to raise awareness of the issue."
  • Stefanie Jacob, '75: "I've lived in Milwaukee for 25 years, married to a cellist in the Symphony. We are 2/3 of a trio (yes, I still play the piano), in residence at the school where I have taught since moving here. Two kids now (mostly) out of the house, lots of music. Best wishes to all!"
  • Lynda Rasco, '78: "Hi all, thanks to my time at L-S I have created a beautiful art gallery and jewelry business (Harvest Gold), specializing in custom pieces, reworking old gold into new treasures, and promoting American artists and crafts people. Please stop by when you are in lovely Lovell Maine, overlooking Kezar Lake and the White Mountains. I am amazed at how many folks I meet here from L-S. 
  • Cheryl Somers Aubin, '77: She has been writing and publishing for over 20 years, after earning a Masters in Writing from Johns Hopkins University. Her book 'The Survivor Tree: Inspired by a True Story' is available on Amazon and at the 9/11 Visitor's Memorial Center. She lives with her husband, Steve, and son, Charlesm in Vienna Va.
  • Melissa 'Misssy' MacKimm, '73: "I just recently retired with my husband Randy Bozarth to the Northern Neck of Virgina & a lovely house on the water. Had a great career with American Express in Chicago, NYC, & DC. Spent the last few years selling real estate. Living the good life!"
  •  Stephen Langford, '77: "It's my first time being in contact. I have been producing TV series in Los Angeles. Family Matters was the most notable. I wrote the movie Lovedwrecked that's playing on HBO and I write and direct films for a company called Dreamfactory. I have two kids, one who is in college and one just graduated high school."
  • Nabeel Ali, '08, a first year medical student, has been honored for creating new heart imaging software. This is considered a significant tool in coronary disease diagnosis. Congrats!
  • Helen Kohane Kobek, '79: "Hello to all! I live with my spouse of 26 years, Jules, in Cambridge. I teach Accent Modification, gardening, and energy conservation, and we mini-homestead here in the city. Happy to be in touch with folks.
  • Larry Downing, '70: "Living the dream as a wire service photojournalist living in Washington D.C. Been assigned to daily news coverage of the White House since 1978. Traveled around the world on Air Force One as a guest of Presidents Carter, Reagan, Bush, Clinton, Bush, and Obama. Planning to retire with my wife Angelica, in Florida real soon!"
  • Anne Hugill, '74, was a Vet Tech for 24 years. Moved on to become a Surgical Tech at a level one trauma center at Maine Medical Center. Love it. Orthopedics my specialty, trauma my favorite. Spare time: my creatures and mountain biking.
  • Randy Edgar recently tok a job as lead recycler at Minogues's Beverages in Saratoga Springs, NY. "My family and I love being back in the Northeast."
  • "Dover" Zondiros Cole, '75: "Living on the Jersey Shore indulging my dreams! Running our B&B Riverside Watch, sailing on Barnegat Bay on our sailboat "Journey," performing weddings, helping adults with disabilities navigate the social security system, and studying for my captain's license!"
  • Paul Healy, '92, "I am currently a prosecutor in Worcester Country. I am married and coaching my son in baseball and soccer."
  • Laurie (Knapp) Lavasseur, '75: "We have been living in NH. We have six kids, all super lively and very fun...:) They are active in track & field and baseball and soccer. I still coach gymnastics."
  • Dick Driscoll, '67: "Just living the dream in Vermont."
  • Rick Paradise, '67, going part-time as a trauma nurse in Frederick, MD, continuing my hobby as a musician–echo harp. guitar and banjo. Best of luck to the wrestling team. I started it in 1966. Undefeated the last two years.
  • Gabriel Globus-Hoenich, '04, is playing and teaching drums in New York and Philadelphia as part of an up and coming folk rock band called The People. Hope to come to play in Boston soon!
  • Rebecca Speert, '02, is currently living in San Clemente, California. She has recently launched a holistic health coaching business called HealthRoots and coaches both in person and on the phone. www.myhealthrooots.com
  • Tom Fowler, '88, is an Energy Reporter for the Wall St. Journal, living in Texas. He is married with two daughters, and hopes they get to have high school teachers as great as the ones he had at L-S.
  • Christina Agapakis, '02, has received a Forbes Magazine "30 Under 30" recognition for her pioneering work in synthetic biology.
  • A brief and gusty hello to all of the '68-'71 era from the northern lattitudes. Best wishes, Rick Gerson.
  • Kent Spottswood, '71, retired recently as news editor at a Rhode Island daily after diverse jobs and adventures. Has two wonderful children, a fantastic stepson and an ever expanding muckle of grandchildren. Plays folk and Celtic music every weekend and spends the rest of his time chasing folklore. 
  • Lisa (Louise) McLeod Balazs, '80: I am living in Birmingham, AL, with my husband and 2 teenage children. I am currently teaching 8th and 9th grade math and science, and am head of the science department at a boarding school.
  • Maggie (Wood) Kassan, '76, former majority leader and president pro tempore of the New Hampshire state senate, has announced as a Democratic condidate for governor. Go Maggie! (She won! Only 49 more states to go for LS!)
  • Marie Bankuti, '77, is now living in Newton. After a long career in IT, she is working at a Life Coach and helping people realize their dreams: "My amazing daughter lives in Boston and is a Clinical Trial Specialist. Am active, enjoying life, and love to travel!"
  • Adrienne (Chandonait) McCarthy, '75-'76: I have a four-month old grandson, Jackson, who is the light of my life. I work in Lincoln as a paralegal, am married to a wonderful man, and am fully enjoying life.
  • Jennifer (Sussman) Brick, '93, is the head of human resources for Bloomingdale's (White Plains NY), but her true love is spending time with her husband, Brian, son, Noah, and daughter, Haley. 
  • Robin Espinola, '87, has completed her latest PBS American Experience film with Ric Burns, "Death & the Civil War." Last spring, she worked on "Into the Deep: American Whaling and the World."
  • Fletcher Boland, '01, and his wife are living in Marblehead, MA and just had a little boy named Dylan. Congrats!
  • Dan Peppercorn, '92, a Westwood junior high history teacher, has just published a new book: "Creative Adventures in Social Studies."
  • Susan (Winter) Frommer, '68, is still teaching an English class at the high school as an emeritus teacher. She also helps to run the school's service program.
