Change: Embrace the unknown with certainty

New! CHANGE: EMBRACE THE UNKNOWN

WITH CERTAINTY

Instructed by Marianne Parent, LMHC

Do you feel that opportunities for change are always available to you? When you learn from the past and use it as a stepping stone, you psychologically turn the past into a positive. Use what you have learned to benefit yourself and others in the present moment. Understand that the external problem is not the issue, but rather how you interpret the situation. By expanding your awareness and objectively observing your behavior, you are now in a position of power. Increased self awareness expands your options. In this 2-week course, you will begin to identify habitual behavioral patterns that are self defeating and you can begin to transition into the powerful energy of having a corrective experience. Your choices and decisions are the building blocks for your future!  We will review the topics of over giving, over helping, fairness patrol, worry habit, thought cascade, and actively resting. A book valued at $10 will be distributed prior to class. Marianne Parent is a Masters level Clinician as well as a licensed LMHC in Massachusetts. She has over twenty-eight years of clinical experience in the field of psychiatric and substance abuse counseling. She has worked in a variety of settings including the emergency department, inpatient and outpatient psychiatric settings, as well as facilitated the development of a substance abuse residential program for women.
