Monday thru Friday 8/9 through 8/13 (7:30 am til 4 pm—or any 2 to 4 hour time period that works for you)

North Bridge Unit, Trail Stewardship with the Appalachian Mountain Club

Join us for light trail surface repairs, weeding, raking, etc. or learn how to carry out more intensive trail repairs associated with trail drainage, erosion, and gully repairs. We will be starting at the northwest end of the North Bridge Trail at Liberty Street and moving southeast down to the North Bridge, then up to Monument Street.

Wednesday, 8/11 (9 am - 12 pm)

Buttrick Gardens workday and Morning Tea, 174 Liberty Street, Concord

Thanks to our summer stewards and volunteers, weather, and Stan Nobles Stonemasonry, the garden is a delightful place to be. We also added more seating tables to the East hillside terraces. We will be weeding and deadheading throughout the garden, then enjoy some late morning treats and tea. No place better to be!

Thursday 8/12 (3 pm – 5 pm)

Carty Party Barn sheep pasture workday, 955 Lexington Road, Concord

Help keep our herd well fed and clean by rotating pastures, removing invasive plants and burdock, cleaning the barn, and preparing to mobilize the moms and lambs to fresh grazing areas.

We will have tools and can provide gloves.

Remember to check for ticks! Please bring water, snack, and sun protection (sunscreen, hat, sun shirt).

We hope you can join us,

Margie
