Auxiliary of Emerson Hospital invites you to
Help Make hand-made teddy bears that the Pediatric Intervention Team (P.I.T.) uses to help young patients feel comfortable in a new and strange environment as they await medical attention.

Also needed are pre-made bear "shells"-- the bear part that is traced, cut out, sewn, and have the faces drawn on them. The "shells" are used at workshops in elementary school classrooms where the students are too young to use sewing machines.

For information on getting started or to request "Teddy Bear Kit" for new bear makers, contact Elizabeth Acquaviva. 978-369-0364.
