Sudbury Senior Center Leaf Raking

Sudbury Senior Center Leaf Raking for older citizens
Posted on 09/06/2019
The Sudbury Senior Center is looking for groups of student volunteers to rake the leaves at homes of seniors in the town who no longer can do it themselves. It is a wonderful way for residents of the town to help each other out, while also enjoying the autumn weather and great outdoors. The senior homeowners are especially appreciative of the volunteers.
The raking can take place on any date/time in November that works best for the volunteers. The volunteers would bring their own equipment (rakes, tarp to collect leaves, leaf blowers if available). An adult is required to supervise the students. The homeowner would supply the leaf bags. For more information, and to apply to become a volunteer, please contact Janet Lipkin, Volunteer Program Coordinator, Sudbury Senior Center, 978-639-3223 Community Service hours are awarded.
