Sherman's Bridge Project Start - 11/9/26

Dear Members of the L-S Community

I am writing to let you all know that I have received official word that the Sherman’s Bridge project will begin on November 9, 2026.  The bridge will be closed for the duration of the project which is slate to last approximately 12 weeks with a reopening date of February 1, 2027.  Please ensure that you make plans accordingly.  For students riding the Lincoln buses to L-S, we have run the routes this year without using Sherman's Bridge in anticipation of this closure.
